This Fall 2013 tour is the most consistently great the band has played since the breakup. I bitch and moan sometimes about predicable standard first sets that rarely deviate, but all those songs were nearly always nailed each and every night. It's clear they take that side of professionalism seriously. But the second sets, whoa - guaranteed serious improvisational jamming night in and night out. The one show I saw live was Hampton night II which contained a powerhouse Ghost-DWD-Steam and closed with a glorious Hood is probably on the lower end of rankings this fall. That is saying something. I'm loving it.
