Good review but really think you moved through the first set fast without hitting on any of the bread and butter. The first set had tons of excellent parts. BOTT was very nice and stretched out a bit which is what i was hoping for. The Divided Sky to me was beautiful and very melodic but think they stretched it out more as well which was icing on the cake. The main theme I got after the Sky was played was their amazing interplay and psychedelic improv. Although not full of deep meat, it really was excellent playing. One of the best It's Ice I've heard. The It's Ice, Mound, LxL, and WOTC were pure psychedelic madness and a very happy trip. Really thought this 1st set was the best of the tour as for 1st sets. Besides that this show has tons of momentum to move forward on. The boys are really letting it fly out there and not holding a lot back. Getting their feel and trying and this is what it's all about. Tons of excitement heading into Canada and I can only be humbled to sit and watch how brave the boys have been by taking chances with the songs. Good review though man! #sand
Oh and I could go on about that Maze that I meant to throw in there but will save you all the time. Psychedelic playing all around ;) Anyhow, loved the show!
