n00b100 I personally still think they did that with the Melt ending on purpose - like, these dudes have played SOAM hundreds of times, and flubs earlier in the song or not, they would at the very least be able to *approximate* the SOAM ending, right? Fish was grinning a mile wide at the end, and Trey (I think) very audibly chuckled once it was done, so either the ability to play the usual ending to SOAM totally deserted them in 7 months, or they just decided to have a little fun at the end of a crazy, not wholly successful, but still ultimately rewarding jam that (IMO) most likely was never supposed to happen.
