mellifluouslife Forum or front page...I couldn't care one way or the other. It does raise an interesting point though.

I'm currently in a lull with Phish. I just finished reading the Parke Puterbaugh biography on the band which drove me back to the catalog for a few days. Otherwise, I've been digging deep into other bands (the new Dawes & Vampire Weekend albums are phenomenal) and rediscovering stuff I haven't listened to in a while (after seeing Ben Harper a couple of weeks ago at the Beacon, I blew the dust off the Innocent Criminals and the Relentless 7). I'm seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers this Thursday and have been listening to his old and new stuff too.

Summer tour is still in the future but when those tickets arrive, I'll be firing them up. From time to time, I've read posts on this site about those who listen to Phish constantly without really considering other music. Very short-sighted. Plus, as others have said, coming back to the boys after a short hiatus has me giggling and dancing like a school girl. It's not quite rediscovering them, but it sounds new and fresh and I marvel at their awesomeness after I let things cool down.
