Great write up @Icculus. Could not have said it any better. Fascinating how they can turn it on and off (ie go from OKC mediocrity to Dick's 8/31) in the span of 48 hours. I think what really differentiates Phish 1.0 versus 3.0 is the frequency with which they were "on" from night to night. Goes to show you they still have it in them when they are feeling it. Makes those "on" nights all the more special!
