Driving from CT > ME was absurd but the reward of 12/30 was well worth it. I don't think I ever slept as well as I did in the Econo Lodge in Portland after driving all night.
Ha! I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure we stayed at the Portland EconoLodge too. Whatever it was, it was much nicer than the sketchy truck stop hotel we stayed at the next night in Worcester.
