Wow. I've heard of the Bowie> Cities> Bowie but I've never listened and...wow when I pushed play and that funk came out of my speakers I was a little shocked that was Phish. They get funky of course but wow that little clip blew me away!
Yep, summer '97 is as funky as Phish got. Even though the fall tour was probably better, it was a bit less funky and a bit more spacey than the summer.
