Def the 12-5-95 Gin...which if I listened to @mcgrupp81 a few weeks ago when sharing what under the radar jams are out there, he mentioned this one and I havent had the time to have a serious listen, which now came to bite me in the ass....HA!!! Many of my buddies hit up these UMASS shows and I just couldnt go...but this may be the only good thing to come form those shows.
Ha. Of course this is the one Mystery Jam in forever that I haven't listenened to within an hour of it's release on the site. The Gin is sick and the Hood from the show doesn't fall far from the 12/30/95 tree in terms of quality. Given that I know people who believe the 12/30/95 Hood is the best Phish performance ever, I hope people check it out. The Scent of a Mule with the sweet outro jam is another highlight from that show. The 12/4 Umass show the night before is really well played with a dynamite Antelope.
Ahhhh, it was the Hood you spoke about, whoops, my bad. I am definetly going to check out both this Gin to refresh my memory and I'll go back-to-back w/ the Hood on deck! I love the never ending life of Phish and their songs, jams + community, and the MJM helps bring it all together...even though the blog was definetly running some scams with a very special mystery jam labor day version...LBC can't be trusted, lol.
