There were periods... where Trey not only forgot how to play some of the band's simplest songs (like CDT) but forgot how to play guitar. The sight of him looking down at his fretboard during Glide and clearly having no idea where to put his fingers, or what this strange contraption was before him, is something I never ever need to revisit. It was a "how the mighty have fallen" moment without any trace of schadenfreude.

Like many who have replied to this thread, I am a guitar player, and have shied away from listening to the Coventry shows. However, the thoughts and opinions I have read are causing me to reconsider listening to them. is a non-commercial project run by Phish fans and for Phish fans under the auspices of the all-volunteer, non-profit Mockingbird Foundation.

This project serves to compile, preserve, and protect encyclopedic information about Phish and their music.
