divided8298 I've watched a few coventry vids online, but that's all i've heard of it since the show itself. I didn't listen to phish at all for more than a year afterwards, it was just too painful; coventry was the 1st time i had shed tears in many years, and the thought of it still stings even post-reunion. Don't get me wrong, like big cypress i wouldn't trade having been there for anything, but it was a depressing weekend for me in most respects. There were highlights of course but for me most were of the non-musical variety: i learned how to drive a stick on that trip, and became re-acquainted with Gus after a long hiatus from psychedelia. I also saw the aforementioned upside-down rainbow and the ominous-looking storm simply dissipating as it rolled in, both awe-inspiring spectacles. But musically, while there were certainly highlights, there were more that made me cringe, the worst for me being the painfully botched Glide and the re-started Curtain With. Maybe someday I'll sit down and listen to the whole thing, but I'm currently too busy (mostly) enjoying 3.0!
