Saw the twitter shitstorm, had to check this out. This is really what that's all about? It was a poorly applied comparison (since although the "Mr. Miner's of the World (TM)" DO conduct heavy evals of the music, in this particular case it makes it look like Miner panned SBIX, which he did not) but not at all worth the MeltFest2k11 that resulted. Apologies are definitely NOT owed here, except maybe by Miner for overreacting. If you're a public figure (and in the Phish world Mr. Miner is, like him or not many fans read his reviews) you are going to be criticized, compared to things, and (as here) used as a straw man. Anyway, your review sounds like you had a blast, so cheers phanner.
