It's irritating when people overemphasize technical flubs, but I don't think Mr. Miner is that kind of critic. He gets excited when songs and jams move outside typical boundaries, he considers the flow of music within a set, and like everyone else he has favorite/ less favorite songs. And what I especially appreciate about Miner is that he takes time to describe the music. Much less interesting, in my opinion, are the reviews like above that say little beyond, "No Quarter blew my mind," and "Stealing Time is the second best song they have written in the last 10 years." Maybe those things are true, but they tell me nothing about the show.
