I have been a concert and festival goer for eons. The fervor of the fans is what drives the bands. Near the end of my first love, GD, the chants of "nostalgia act" would burn your ears. I would be in on the discussions of "heard them do that before", "that version sucked", etc.... I'm not endorsing blind loyalty by any stretch of the imagination. But, everyone enjoys the experience differently. I'm just saying, have an intelligent discussion. Don't berate someone for having a different opinion. I've seen AWESOME Phish and I've seen so-so Phish. From 97 to the present. After you disect a show, take into account the fact that they are still around. Nothing lasts forever.
