I actually had a better time on Sunday as opposed to Saturday just because the sound quality on Fish side on Saturday night was really poor. I was on Page side Sunday and it was a lot better. I am with you on Alaska....like Number Line it doesn't really have a place to fit where it won't ruin the flow of the set. Whatever...I had a great time. This is Phish's M.O. now, so we all just have to live with it. I got my creativity out in the Midwest so I really didn't mind a pair of straight ahead rock shows at Merriweather. All creativity and exploration aside, I've been really impressed with how much energy the boys exude on stage lately. Taking requests for openers has been really fun (and has made for excellent openers). Looking forward to Super Ball IX, where the playing should be loose and unhurried.
