The platform set at 9:45-10:00 is pure bliss

I openly wept during this jam. Musical highlight of the weekend. Beautiful, beautiful jam.

Sick Disease. Sick, Sick, Sick Disease.

This was definitely the highlight of the Mexico run for sure. This particular show is worth the download in my opinion for this DWD. The Shipwreck samples in it are dreamy! Mike and Fish weave a sweet fabric around 13:40 and Trey teases a little Psycho Killer at 14:10, everyone patiently joins the not quite funk groove, then Trey gets a major chord progression that hooks you around 15:45 and it is just pure danceable bliss from there. Take this one for a good near 20 minute run and you will be flying by the end. If this had an additional 3-5 minute dirty dark or super spaced out section in it to create more tension before the major release, length queens would be freaking out about it. I thought that might happen early on around 9-10 minutes but they never went there. Personally, I was glad they didn't and Page was perfect with the Shipwreck samples. The place wanted to dance, so they kept it moving.

"Length queens." That made me laugh the whole day after I read that.

Yeah, I don't think length mattered here. This was an exciting jam, as is, for me. What Page did with the Shipwreck quotes has me transfixed. Makes me think of where they seemed to be headed in 2000, before they jumped ship for awhile and cut that momentum off. I'd always hoped they'd get there and bring back more of that 2000 vibe.

Wish they hadn't ended up in Farmhouse, but that is so Phish to blow minds and curveball with a ballad that takes the winds out of sails. Like they do that on purpose.

Awesome run. So many things I'm going back to. Even the Moma, a song of grown bored by.

Well done, Page. You really elevated this song and the 3rd quarter of this show.

Probably the best integration of the Chilling, Thrilling material that they've yet done. Incredible jam.

It still seems so inexplicable that the piece that seemed the most thought out from Halloween hasn't popped back up besides this.

That Shipwreck composition is even more delectably Floydian than the ending of Wingsuit. Would be really exciting to see the whole thing emerge.

Maybe now that people are thinking about it we will see it's long awaited second appearance
