Not much is known about this “song,” including whether or not it’s even a song. At the antic-filled 3/30/89 show, Ninja Custodian members Ninja Mike and Magoo sat in on stage with Phish for a performance of the NC original, “Funky (Breakdown).” Segueing into a song usually labeled as “The Price of Love,” Ninja Mike merely continued his bizarre, seemingly off-the-cuff lyrical contributions over Phish and Magoo’s background music. This combination was reprised with the same guests at the 5/28/89 gig at Ian McLean’s party.
