Review by uctweezer

uctweezer I was at this show, and believe it or not, I caught one of the baseballs Vida Blue threw out before the show. It was autographed, and on one side it says "1971 Cy Young" and on the other it says "1971 MVP". I am a huge SF Giants fan and I was going nuts when he came out on stage, and I was actually wearing a Giants hat in the crowd. I caught the ball he threw out to his right side-- it's tough to see me on the DVD because my two buddies basically mobbed me when he threw it.

Strangely enough, a few years later, my sister gave me a signed Vida Blue baseball with the exact same things written on it (autograph / 1971 MVP / 1971 Cy Young) for my birthday. She worked for a prominent SF politician at the time and had met Vida Blue at some event, and he handed out a few baseballs and she figured I'd dig it. I guess that's just how he rolls. So yeah, now I have two Vida Blue autographed baseballs. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
