Setlists Matching City: Bethel, State: NY, Country: USA, All Artists

Ya Mar included Express Yourself (Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band) teases from Mike. Antelope contained a Curtis Loew tease from Trey and Manteca teases from Trey and Page. Page teased Magilla in Simple. A fan ran across the stage during Tweezer Reprise.

Gin included a mash-up jam of Golden Age and Manteca and later closed with a Manteca quote from Trey. Disease was unfinished. BDTNL featured a DEG tease from Mike. Makisupa included lyrics referencing several band members' houses (and Trey's favorite show, House).

SET 1: Waves[1]

This performance was from the Tech rehearsal for Phish's 2011 Bethel Woods run. This stunning version of Waves (with A Love Supreme themes) was first revealed on Kevin Shapiro's "From the Archives" #15 in the early morning of 7/1/11 on The Bunny @ SBIX.

This gig featured Benevento/Russo Duo, G.R.A.B. and Phil Lesh & Friends. "Becky" (Benevento/Russo Duo) was a G.R.A.B. debut. “Uncle Albert” featured Trey on megaphone. “Who Are You” included a “Star Spangled Banner” tease, Mike on acoustic guitar, and assorted on-stage antics from Trey (“lighting his guitar on fire” a la Hendrix, and Pete Townshend-style windmills and faux guitar-smashing). Trey sat in for Phil’s entire second set that reprised the Grateful Dead’s set performed at Woodstock; the Bethel venue is at the site of the original 1969 Woodstock festival.

SET 1: Shakedown Street > Cumberland Blues > This Wheel's On Fire, Candyman, I Know You Rider

SET 2: Uncle John's Band [1] > St. Stephen[1] > Mama Tried[1] > Dark Star[1] > High Time[1] > Turn On Your Love Light[1]

ENCORE: He's Gone[1] > Touch of Grey[1] > Box of Rain[1]

Benevento/Russo Duo and G.R.A.B. opened. Trey sat in on guitar and vocals for the entire second set and encore. Greg Osby sat out for "Uncle John's Band" through "High Time." The setlist for the second set (after "Uncle John's Band") was a nod to the Dead's performance at Woodstock nearly 37 years earlier, also in Bethel.
