There are 32 players registered for the Second Annual Runaway Open, a charity golf tournament for Phish fans on Saturday September 2nd, the day of the second Dick's show. That's nearly twice as many players as we had in the first event, last fall, so we've successfully increased the cap this time to 60!
We're unlikely to get that many, which means there's still plenty of space for anyone interested in swinging sticks with fellow fans for the benefit of music education - but we need a final count in about 24 hours, so register pronto and please share this widely!
To register, make a contribution of $125 or more per player (to firstname.lastname@example.org via PayPal, or to email@example.com via Dwolla). This donation covers:
The event will take place at Buffalo Run Golf Course - in a nook between E 470, 76, and the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge. Chosen for its proximity, ratings, and availability, and opened in 1996, Buffalo Run is a nationally recognized and award-winning, 18-hole championship course with lush rolling greens, expansive fairways, and picturesque views of the Rocky Mountains. We look forward to seeing you there!

Phish.net is a non-commercial project run by Phish fans and for Phish fans under the auspices of the all-volunteer, non-profit Mockingbird Foundation.
This project serves to compile, preserve, and protect encyclopedic information about Phish and their music.
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
