brybird This is a fun review, and I imagine being there was an epic experience. But, I think the hyperbole throughout does the review an injustice and reveals the youth of the author. Everyone has a best ever. I personally, am not excited by Gamehendge, it grates on me. It is more theatre than it is music. Broadway anyone? I have been listening and seeing Phish since the late 1980s and I love the band and the music. For me however, they are their best post-2007. I appreciate all they did prior, but I find the playing to be frantic. I am not taking it away from those that love it, music is very personal. I am so happy for everyone, including the author, who claim 12/31/23 "historic." It likely is for many.
