Oh, we ALL have a story of show regret. I am sure there are some doozies floating out there. You know there's some wack-a-mole out there that declined an invite to 3-22-93 and countless other classics.

I went just now to give the 8-7-10 Light another listen and typed in Light 8/7/10 on Youtube. I scrolled down and saw the Phish performance but also saw a video featuring American Idol winner David Cook performing a song called "light On" in my old college town on 8/7/10. I went to William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. It's about 20 minutes from Hampton. Of course the band was on hiatus for most of my time in school... I was just getting into the band in Fall 99 and if I had stayed after finals, I would have been able to have caught the 12-18-99 show. Funny enough, I was in Florida for the millennium with my family and perhaps a few more months of Phish exposure would have led to the decision to blow them off for the ultimate Phish show. As with everything in life, you snooze you lose. is a non-commercial project run by Phish fans and for Phish fans under the auspices of the all-volunteer, non-profit Mockingbird Foundation.

This project serves to compile, preserve, and protect encyclopedic information about Phish and their music.
