Oh, we ALL have a story of show regret. I am sure there are some doozies floating out there. You know there's some wack-a-mole out there that declined an invite to 3-22-93 and countless other classics.

I went just now to give the 8-7-10 Light another listen and typed in Light 8/7/10 on Youtube. I scrolled down and saw the Phish performance but also saw a video featuring American Idol winner David Cook performing a song called "light On" in my old college town on 8/7/10. I went to William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. It's about 20 minutes from Hampton. Of course the band was on hiatus for most of my time in school... I was just getting into the band in Fall 99 and if I had stayed after finals, I would have been able to have caught the 12-18-99 show. Funny enough, I was in Florida for the millennium with my family and perhaps a few more months of Phish exposure would have led to the decision to blow them off for the ultimate Phish show. As with everything in life, you snooze you lose.
