Question for the guessers, and @schvice in particular:

Do you think this MJM would've been easier or harder had it just been the Bowie (My Soul) clip (i.e. if this were a classic format MJM with the first clip alone)?

My intuition is that it would've been harder, as getting the other two tipped @schvice off to Richmond shows, which led him to abandon My Soul and focus on the ten or so shows from Richmond(s). If "harder" is the consensus answer, acknowledging of course that this isn't the case for every MJM, I think this week's is a big success for the triple MJM format. Because we will have effectively gotten rid of the drive-by first hour winners, turned folks on to three jams instead of one, but haven't necessarily made it more difficult to solve (though it takes more time). Thoughts? I guess I'm just worried that the new format might be turning off too many folks (and the ten hours of radio silence only fed my paranoia!).

Yeah, there's essentially no way I would have figured it out if it was just the Bowie. Nobody would've unless they already knew it, which is where the multiple jams shine. They make it solvable by the average fan, and also prevent it from being immediately solved by some lucky person who just happens to recognize the clip.

I was a bit daunted by the multi-jam MJMs at first, but I see their value now. I do think that's a good idea though, mixing it up from time to time.

I think the radio silence might come from people being afraid to share possible correct answers that other people might be looking for. I know I wasn't about to post that Possum unless I was sure I had all three.
