ROCK BOTTOM CHICAGO FUNDRAISER FOR MOCKINGBIRD

Rock Bottom Chicago is once again fundraising for Mockingbird, this time in connection with this weekend's Rosemont shows:

For every "Sample" and Phish-inspired beer (THERE ARE SIX OF THEM, read the flyer above) consumed over the weekend, Rock Bottom will donate fifty cents to The Mockingbird Foundation. However, they will also be selling Mockingbird logo jars again (as in previous fundraisers), and they'll donate $3 for every jar sold. So if for example you buy a "Sample" beer in (and, with) a jar, for $10, then $3.50 will be donated to Mockingbird, and will ultimately support music education programs for children and young adults.

The fundraiser will run from Thursday October 25 through Sunday October 28 (Rock Bottom Chicago will be open until 2am Friday and Saturday nights, btw). They will also be jamming PHISH all day Thursday and, for a brief 6-9pm period on Thursday, will be donating 100% OF THE COST OF THE PHISH BEERS CONSUMED to Mockingbird! Please attend and say hi to Ray, Jimmy, Brandon and Kyle. The brewers will also all be around for the 6-9pm tapping party on Thursday.

PLEASE SUPPORT THIS FUNDRAISER! It's not every day that a business helps Mockingbird out like this. We're very grateful to them!

If you liked this blog post, one way you could "like" it is to make a donation to The Mockingbird Foundation, the sponsor of Phish.net. Support music education for children, and you just might change the world.
