HHood I really love Phish and think Trey is amazing but this video is a bit cliche, no?

slugsack Sounds like Pavement (Stephen Malkmus), really slow.

Timpanogos very Wes Anderson-y visuals

Herbdacious The end is Zappa-ish

lipstickperfume I hear a lot of influences in here. Really dig it. I hate to make a Dead reference here but it does sound Cassidy-ish. Would like to see Phish take this for a spin. Pun intended.

nickavv I've loved this song since Tom Marshall posted the demo on his Soundcloud a few years back. So glad it's getting the treatment it deserves!

tweeza Sorry, Trey, love ya man -- but this sounds like Tom Petty.

Phishsx78 This song is terrible. Sounds like a cheesy 80's song at times. Just a continuation of the crap he's been releasing with Phish...

From the guy who called the 2nd jammed out Mikes Song in 15 years "ho-hum"

bushwood_a_dump I'm glad the guy is healthy and continuing to write, but following up Phish Summer Tour 2015 with this, is like following up the Beatles White Album with "Silly Love Songs" by Wings.

There were 8 years between those. And Paul showed signs of writing fluffy music even before the White Album. Not the best analogy there.

Spirit this is awesome, it reminds me of Katamari Damacy

That is the analogy.

Trey without Phish is like McCartney without The Beatles. Solo artists in bands of "yes" men (and women).
