Kill Devil Falls

kipmat Some "Long Tall Glasses"-esque riffs from Trey around the 7:30 mark. I like the dynamics in the solo section, it made for a very enjoyable listen.

n00b100 2015's finest jams tend to be defined by major key or "bliss" jamming (your 8/22/15 Caspians and 12/30/15 Gins of the world); this one takes the opposite tack, delving into darker and stranger realms than even much of 3.0 tended to plumb (i.e., the realms 2.0 regularly traversed). I'm not sure this is on the same tier as the year's true classics, but it's a damned fine jam that makes the absolute most out of every second of its running length and is certainly part of why 12/31/15 is such a superb show. Great transition into Piper, as well.

n00b100 A special version to me, both because it's so good musically (one of those multi-part 3.0 beasts), but because it kicks off one of my true favorite sets.

jonnylips Once the jam gets going there is a very Manteca-like section followed by another jamming section that reminds me a lot of Walk Away before heading into hose-zone for the finale.

ThomasFunkyEdison This KDF absolutely kills it. I hold off using the term "best," so I'll say instead that this is my favorite KDF ever. Definitely my favorite since Bethel (which I can't believe isn't highlighted yellow), check this out, you won't be unhappy at all. Very blissful, reminds me (without recent relisten) of a good 96/98 'Simple.'

ThomasFunkyEdison I think this should be highlighted yellow. Definitely one of my favorite versions, and it should especially stand out given that this song is usually fairly standard (not in a bad way). Before BGCA14's monster, this was my favorite version. Less type-II but a rocker non-the-less.
