KernelForbin 10/18/12 - This show was replayed in thePhish room on Turntable.FM

A Mellow Mood debut and opener was great, but my now means indicated the direction for the rest of the show. This one goes well under the radar and keeps you on your toes the entire time. LxL, Ghost are really excellent and seem to come out of nowhere after the very "mellow" opening. The set sort of meanders on from here, but really hits big with Taste, this is a must-hear version.

Set Two gives us a standard but high-energy Birds and Bowie, neither of which are slouches... but the REAL big moment comes with the rare second set Gin, which clocks in at 17 minutes before going in to a 7 minute ambient jam. Take a listen to this one without a doubt. They close out the show with Fire, pretty much taking a complete 180 from where they started with Set 1.

Review by RobesPierre

RobesPierre This was my first indoor phish show... and as i remember it was pretty damn good.

The past summer i went to pnc, camden and hershey and loved them all... but seeing phish indoors is what really sealed the deal. I was loving it. i remember being particularly blown away by bowie.

i need to listen to this again. maybe today... it is the 11th anniversary.

Review by Bob_Loblaw

Bob_Loblaw A decent show

Ghost has a pretty straight forward "Stretching their legs" type jam. Glide is pretty botched. Axilla is actually a very solid and explosive version. Very strong taste great work by Trey.

Bowie has a cool extended intro and a nice midsection. Back at the chicken shack is an interesting choice for mid set. It does feel a bit slow and I think loses some momentum. The Gin jam is very blissful and upbeat as usual. The jam after goes into a beautiful ambiance followed by some vaccume.

Overall a just ok show. Not the most inspired unfortunately considering the great setlist.

Review by Palmer

Palmer Always the anticipation for what the show will bring.

SET 1- Mellow Mood wow new cover for the boys, sounded excellent and got the place alive. My seats sucked sort of behind the stage but I walked away to see a better angle and it paid off.

Limb X Limb- I forever have loved this song, sounded standard but was happy as hell to hear it.

Ghost- Got things rocking out hard, Love the slow build introduction and the jamming that follows.

Bouncing- Good breather, good song nothing fancy.

The Horse- Like it, Trey on his solo

Silent- Page is the man, big fan of this one and anything off rift.

Saw it again- Mother Fu
