Review by nickavv

nickavv I brought a buddy of mine along to this show, who hadn't been to a show in over a decade. Needless to say it was a ripper of a first-show-back for him!

This show had a great mix of shreddy, peaky fire; big deep weird jams; fun goofy phishiness. I really had a blast. Trey didn't nail the guitar solo in Billy Breathes, but that's about my only complaint for the show. Everything else sounded great, and there was a ton of energy to go around.

Review by Phan3123

Phan3123 Ok night 2 Manchester is history. Another beautiful summer day in NH, my girlfriend and I camped out and it was a great time so far up North. Heading back tonight after the show, but would welcome a return here any day.

Set 1 starts out with a standard Free, a little predictable. Next comes Reba which was a pleasant surprise. This version might be the best one I’ve seen live, really hit the spot for me. Halfway to the moon good to hear again, but standard. Halley’s Comet absolutely rips, must hear from set 1. Stash get jammed, it’s more a bliss jam. It’s solid none the less and we end with a sick Meat and a surprise DWD set closer, really liked the spot for this. Must hear from set 1 are Reba and Halley’s Comet. Stash is good, but it’s a bliss jam I’ve heard before.

Set 2 starts up with DWYS…ughhh. This song is not for me just to sappy. I know people like the meaning and all that, but I just never want to hear it. Opening set 2? Let’s just not do that again. What follows is great. Carini is the highlight of the show. Some really interesting jamming and ideas, would highly recommend. Wave of hope also delivers a nice jam, very different from some other versions, really solid 2-3 punch after the start. Love Billy Breathes and it was a first for me so loved that. The rest of the set is good old fashioned rock on a Saturday night, a little extra mustard on Possum to these ears. Solid set over all. Carini and Wave of Hope are highly recommended.

Once again they deliver with the encore, classic stuff absolutely loved it. Bold as Love another first for me.

This was a solid show, but had a couple moments here and there. I’d rate this one a 4.25/5. Really solid opening run, I hope tonight is the big one.

tele_mon "Also Sprach Zarathustra included a Let's Go Blue tease." Uhhh, NO! Absolutely ZERO people shouted Lets Go Blue. They chanted "GO CATS GO", the National Champion University of Vermont fightsong! UNH is also the Wildcats. Phish is from Vermont, not Michigan. Listen to the tape! #GoCatsGo!

The whole show was a heater. Fantastic Stash, Meat, DWD. I like the Ghosts of the Forest songs like Drift While You're Sleeping. Old-school encore brought me back. The band is starting off summer tour on fire! This show is a keeper.

Review by TooManyUrkels

TooManyUrkels This one is inevitably going to get overshadowed by 6/22/25, but make no mistake: although it's not as deep, this show is also a total banger. Reminiscent to 12/29/18 in my eyes - very high energy in the room and as close to a perfect rock show as you can expect from anyone, let alone a bunch of 60 year old dads. This is high praise coming from a cat like me.

Don't let the DWYS opener fool you, set II is heat all the way through if you can stomach some love and light (at least Trey got it out of the way early). Set I is no slouch either, not by a long shot. Do yourself a favor and give this a spin.
