SET 1: Farmhouse, Back on the Train, Vultures, Sleep, Gumbo -> NICU > Beauty of My Dreams, Bathtub Gin, Mountains in the Mist, Axilla[1] > Stash
SET 2: Wolfman's Brother > Piper, Theme From the Bottom > Down with Disease > Jam -> Split Open and Melt[2]
The first set is CHILL, mellow Phish, and is a great listen late in the morning or early afternoon with a pot of coffee, and anything else you like to have at that time of day. It's the set you'd expect them to play after the previous night's show.

This show has an obvious MVP.....And that is Trey. This show IS Phish. Good, Bad, funny, Pretty, Ugly Rock, funk, jazz, country and soul all mixed up in a jumbled mess. Is it Great? no. Is it better entertainment than most live acts provide? absolutely. Don't let that first review spoil it for you. The second set is Amazing. And Gordo was on point because i would've rather heard a face splitting melt than the delay-loop-lazy 2001. Good Call Mikey.

this was the big u.s. summer tour closer. phish had really been playing well the last 3 nights, so this deer creek crowd was really expecting the best. unfortunately, and some disagree with me, but this was one of the worst phish shows i have ever seen.

I like this show and want to comment on the first set. I recorded this show from the lawn absolute center lawn straight to minidisc with a directional mono microphone. It is one of my favorite "audience" recordings.....something about it is so unique and for some reason Mike is nice and loud. I revisit this show often to listen to the fairly mellow first set with highlights VULTURES, SLEEP, and MOUNTAINS IN THE MIST. The harmonizing during Sleep and Mist captures the heart.....the audience on the lawn is totally silent and into it. The audience is fairly mellow on the recording and Trey and Mike just shine non stop. I think there is something to cherish when Phish plays a sort of mellow laid back first set as the sun is setting behind Deercreek. If you like minidisc and would like a recording of my master copy, shoot me a message. I'd love to spread this historic audience recording among the phishmasses. I have both sets and the entire 1999 Deercreek run. Cherish these recordings! GO PHISH! Thank you for touring. My life is great again with you in it 2011 UIC SICKNESS.

And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
