This show is my one and only international Phish show, and it was also the last time I ever saw them play in a small club. Le Spectrum on St. Catherine street is nice club type venue, that probably holds a little over 500 people. It had tables and chairs, and a cool upper balcony that went around the club facing the stage. I remember setting up my Marantz PMD cassette deck, and microphone stand on a table, which was really convenient. This was the forth show I had seen on the 1992 fall tour, and one of my all time favorites. It wasn't the most technically perfect show, but it was a lot of fun, and the small crowd was great. Of course everyone howled at the "ship to Quebec" line in Fee. It was a vey cool version after a slightly shaky start, I was glad Trey brought the megaphone for this one. My favorite part of the show was TMWSIY, it was my favorite instrumental they were playing at that time . After the show the party just seemed to move to the other bars and clubs that were still open. That's the great thing about St. Catherine Street, it never closes. I think they should rename it Sodom & Gomorrah Street, there's nothing saintly about it. What a night.....

Twenty-first and last show of fall tour, second show in Canada. This one is not quite as good as last night's show, but still very well played and a good recording to go with it.

Buried Alive is a good, solid opener. No problems here. Right into a lengthy Wilson. This one is full of teases and a long ending jam. Double shot of Gamehenge material with a really solid reading of Divided Sky. Fee was a little shaky at first, but settles in to be a good one. Ice was also solid, and a lot tighter like most of the Rift material is getting. Uncle Pen was right up there in tightness as well. Stash had a few weak spots, but nothing major. Rift was a little shaky and it seemed like Trey's volume disappeared. Last night's was better. FEFY was pretty good for a new song. IDK featured "Tubbs" who is funny as usual. Page seems to initiate the finger scrape going into a good Bowie to close a good first set.

Suzy had some silly antics making it good, but not great. Mound shows off more solid new Rift material. Bouncing was ok, and included lots of monitor feedback. Llama rocks, as usual. Fluffhead is solid, maybe a few spots, and Fishman rushed the ending a little, cutting Trey off. Chalk Dust included more teases and antics reminiscent of last night's Tweezer jam. Nice to hear the shout out's to the crew from Trey and Page while the piano is being fixed. TMWSIY was great on both ends of a good Avenu. My Sweet One was a little rushed and featured the new Big Ball Jam at the end. Nothing too crazy in the HYHU into Rosie combo tonight. "Tubbs” ladies and gentlemen! Hood was ok. It had a few rough spots, but again, nothing major or really noticeable. Cavern is back to its usual spot, and tonight Trey blows the lyrics causing a laugh. Pretty good second set.

The crowd does a reasonable job keeping quiet for a nice Adeline encore. A rocking Rocky Top follows and almost gets way off due to the super fast tempo.

Great show, although not quite the five star performance of last night, it's still a great way to end the tour with two back to back, solid shows. Now two weeks off to prepare for the New Year's run.

'92! A huge year in the history of Phish. A year of solid, thoughtful jams, and a LOT of shenanigans. Here we have a tour closer! The best type of show! It takes place in the beautiful country of Canada, no less. We're in for a good time.

Buried Alive is a perfect opener, in any era > a solid, yet strange version of Wilson. Lots of secret language signals. There's some fun jamming in the blat-boom section. Keeping the energy high! > a standard, but perfectly executed Divided Sky. Literally perfect. Trey and Page are kings of their domain. Fee is standard but essential for this show. On a ship to Quebec! Listen to Page in this one, he does some really cool shit. Love the harmonics outro. Ok, I changed my mind, this Fee is pretty great > It’s Ice is very solid, but otherwise pretty standard. Page is awesome in the slow section and the build up > our first of many grass tunes tonight, Uncle Pen, is pretty fun. I love the interplay between Trey and Page, it’s beautiful. Stash is red hot, but standard. Stash was only in its baby days, it had no idea of the monster it would later become. This is but a preview of that power. Pretty good overall. Rift is standard, but well played. Kind of a weird placement in the setlist, but that hardly really matters. Page goes crazy. Fast Enough For You was really needed after all this energy in the set. Serene, melancholy, and retrospective, I wouldn’t want it any other way. Fish blows in I Didn’t Know, classic hijinks > a really cool intro into Bowie. If you listen closely, you can hear the lyrics echoing through the venue; cool, but unintentional (I think?) effect. This is a smokin’ hot Bowie, everyone is turned to 11 here, no holds barred. It even gets downright angry, Trey being the main powerhouse of the jam. They switch to the normal Bowie outro jam, and the energy does NOT let up. Coolest outro to any song ever. Check this one out, but strap in before you do, because hot damn.

Suzy is a great choice for an opener, and this one has excellent energy. Short, but sweet. Mound is our Mike song for this evening, and it’s a pretty damn good version. Mike kills his solo, which has a gritty overdrive sound to it. Very cool. Bouncing is standard. I think this placement is pretty lame. Personally, I don’t think it has any place in a second set. But, again, that hardly really matters. Just meh, unfortunately > everything I said is now invalid due to the overwhelming power of this Llama. Uncontrollable, fearsome chaos. Holy shit, hold onto your ass, because it will be getting kicked very shortly. Fluffhead is perfect. Utterly flawless. Trey does some cool, creepy effects in the Clod section. He’s a little impatient in the peak, but can you blame him? The energy is through the roof! > and doesn’t slow down as they transition into a Chalkdust that would kill your Grandmother upon contact. I mean, seriously: dangerously high energy, freight train type shit. Trey does some really weird stuff during the verses. He and Trey really dominate this jam. Trey shares some kind words about the tour and the crew during the string change. Wholesome stuff. We return to the music with a very solemn and sincere Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday. This shit right here is pure bliss. Kind of shit I want played at my funeral > right into the meat with Avenu Malkenu. As if it’s trying to snap you out of the trance MWSIY put you in. Great Mike stuff here, great phaser effects. Awesome time all around. Mazel tov! > straight back into the bliss. This whole medley is fuckin profound > our second grass tune, which takes the form of a fast-as-fuck My Sweet One, Fish and Page kill it > more hijinks with Big Ball Jam. Give Fish a break! Cracklin’ Rosie is a pretty good Fishman tune for the HYHU section, keeping the energy high. What ensues is a beautiful Hood. Very tight composed section, and an incredibly well constructed jam, it adds up to create a perfect version of Hood. Cavern is standard, but a quintessential set 2 closer.

Sweet Adeline is a great a capella tune. A capellas are perfect for an encores following such a hype show, it’s a great way to come down. A lot of ruckus in the crowd, very antsy group. Rocky Top is fast and sweet. Very satisfying encore.

A great show all in all. It’s filled to the brim with energy, and never really lets you calm down. But, this is common practice for this era. Set 2 was kinda scattered; it has some great jams, but never real meat to it, does that make sense? It jumps from a lot of different places to the next with no real conciseness.
