Set 1 starts out with Theme From the Bottom> Back on the Train. Both are standard but well played. Sand is next and I like this version, I really wish they kept exploring on this one. Bouncing Around the Room is next, I’m not sure why but this just hasn’t been doing it for me lately. Backwards Down the Number Line pops up in a good spot and has a decent jam as usual. Human Nature is next and this is a decent enough song, may grow on me in time. It’s Ice is good, but standard. Wolfman’s Brother is next and this is a great type 1 excursion, really liked this one. Drift While You’re Sleeping is next. They keep playing this at shows I’m at so I guess I have to discuss it. It’s just not for me I’ll just leave it at that.
Set 2 starts out with YEM. Love this song, but this version is pretty standard. They do have a nice little jam at the end there though. Oblivion is next, good not great version. No Men In No Man’s Land>Monsters is the first highlight of the set. No men’s has this really great type 2 jam, I’ve listened back a few times it’s very unique. Monsters is a song that grew on me after being at this version. Wow just great playing here, it reminds me a little of Pink Floyd. 2001 is fun and gets people moving. Chalkdust Torture is the next highlight and this version just rips, the jam is just exploding with energy. When the Circus Comes is a cover I enjoy and was glad to hear again. David Bowie is standard but welcome. Say It To Me S.A.N.T.O.S is just not a song I really want to get anymore, but it’s fine.
Set 1 Highlights-> Sand and Wolfman’s Brother.
Set 2 Highlights-> No Men In No Man’s Land(Highly Recommended), Monsters, Chalkdust Torture.
This show was good, but not everything was for me on this night. Still had a blast, but I’d rate this one a 3.7/5.
