Not the best audience recording available for this show. Grateful a source even exists. The quality does seem to improve from Wilson to the end of the show. Hopefully the masters are unearthed at some point.

The Landlady has a rough beginning to kick off the show. They redeemed themselves with fiery little Jim and a nice string of songs to follow. There’s some blemishes in Reba and during YEM’s intro. With that said both songs have fantastic jams, especially YEM! The YEM vocal jam segues into the second version of Manteca. Mo’ Better Blues makes another appearance during Bowie’s hi-hat hijinx. The first Mo’ Better Blues appearance was at the start of the tour in Amherst, 9/22. The Bowie jam itself is pretty straightforward.

The opening to Divided Sky is cut to start set 2. Nice version. The first Makisupa of the tour and only second of the year is up next. Cool “Crab in my shoemouth” keyword and a nice breakdown. Fantastic Llama! No Mockingbird rap between Forbin>Mockingbird. Mockingbird is cut on Relisten? Sound quality improves from Wilson through the end of the show. Solid Mike’s Groove. Hydrogen has the Misty Fields rap heard in Portland and Saratoga Springs earlier in the tour. Cool Mainstreet teasing in Groove. Hilarious version of Whipping Post with Bob Seger adding guitar and vacuum to the mix! Fire provides an exclamation point to a rippin’ set! Fun Contact/Highway to Hell encore to wrap up the evening.
