fhqwhgads "I can't believe I got into a fight in the 90s!" This show looks abbreviated to some degree, I think, just gazing at the setlist, but the stories are robust and the Harry Hood is actually a full version of that song, complemented by Trey's loops and 12 Step guitar synthesizer. Speaking of which, the 12 Step reminds me of an harmonium (Indian drone instrument used to accompany sitar ragas) during Ghost. Back to the beginning, though: Stealing Time From the Faulty Plan sounds pretty melancholy played solo acoustic... really brings a resonance to that song that I'd never quite noticed before. I absolutely love the story about seeing Alison Krauss and then inviting her to record on Hoist. I am also a big fan of hers, and you know what Trey and Mike were experiencing if you've ever heard her sing. I didn't quite get a handle on the debut of Empty House; I'll have to revisit that one (hopefully this summer!)
