Review by DollarBill

DollarBill This another audience recording from the Summer 92 Santana Tour. I don't mean to be cruel to the taper but, this has to be one of the worst recordings I've ever heard. Sorry. There is no low end to speak of and the mic keeps getting repositioned in the begining. Again, sorry, but I am glad I heard it just for history's sake.

Chalk Dust cuts in right at the "flutters away" line before the first chorus. Not a bad opener. Guelah is nice and tight. Rift has also improved since changing the structure. Oh Kee Pa > Suzy is good, pretty normal. Then we have an obvious f**k up as Fishman goes into his Cavern intro even though Trey is into the Bowie intro. Leading everyone into a strange limbo between the two until Fishman stops and goes into Bowie. Bowie itself is pretty good, although a little loose in parts. An actual Cavern comes next with an equally messed up intro as Trey gets right into it and Mike and Page go diminished like usual. Cavern itself is not too bad. Funny, you can hear some lady ask the taper "What's the name of this band?" before the Adeline closer.

Not too bad of a set but, an awful recording.
