Not much is known about Paul. His brief but memorable contribution to Phish’s live history was a guest appearance on trombone for a version of “Magilla.” Paul’s band, Ryth McFeud, had opened for Phish on this date in 1991. Many recordings that circulate include Trey joining the band for a ripping “Low Spark of High Heeled Boys.”
