Sooo excited! Just wondering if anyone has paid for tickets from the lottery using Visa Debit? I'd hate to miss out because of the card I used. Also when are our cards most likely going to be charged? Is it when the request period is over (Feb 21st)?

Um... those 23 shows - playing all the usual-suspects venues - look well and phine....

There aren't alot of these sheds where the boys get to play the same legendary stage as Led Zepp, The Who and Hendrix (8/16/68 w/ Soft Machine opening!), to name a few...

Last time a summer tour opened indoors? 2012. Just saying, expect great things. Xcel Energy is a massive upgrade for Phish over the Target Center, too. "Hello Minneapolis, it's good to be home!"

So stoked! There has not been a show in New England since Fall Tour 2013 (MSG doesn't count) so it's time to hook up the local folks again!! Can't wait!

Cards will be charged between 2/22 and 2/25, if your requests are given. Most of my requests were rejected last year.... unlucky and late I suppose

hey didn't play MPP in 2012 either, and the 2011 and 2009 shows were really poorly received as was the 2nd night this year and 1st night in 2010.. they've done some great things there absolutely but it's a pretty stark hit or miss environment kinda like the venue itself which used to be a police state and is now a free for all (literally, go to the entrance at the top of the lawn, really good chance you can just walk right in)

When MPP decided to leave the floodlights above the lawn on for the entire 2nd set on Sunday I had a feeling that there might be a bit of a fracture in the relationship ship between the band and venue.

I'm more surprised by Portsmouth than Merriweather. An all GA venue less than half as big as the places they will play on either side of it (6500 capacity!) It's like the Hampton of outdoor venues, and in the same cluster of towns!

I was fully geared up to take my daughter there on her 4th birthday as the place seems so kid friendly and she's a total Phish neRd already. Now I'm left wondering if I go back on my promise or take her to a jamband show in Philadelphia. At what age do you want to explain why you kid can't have a balloon? Should be fun!

Virginia was blessed for so long.. but now it seems like we are on a massive dry spell. No Phish in 2015 or likely 2016, no real Biscuits shows since 2009, no JRAD or electron shows ever. Bit salty!

@ddchapin: I'd be happy to never see Merriweather listed again. The police are illiterate assholes there and aggressively fill their jail cells with Phish fans every show.

Compared to 98-00 the police might as well not even exist at MPP now.

WELL...Bill Graham sold out in half a heartbeat. I guess everyone has his eye on the Monday show as a sleeper, seeing as how the entire west coast is going to be flocking to the Gorge.
