Ignace Great work, Filip, the way you told how you got into Phish and understood their significance musically and as a cultural phenomenon. Being a European myself (Belgium that is), I recognise the strange feeling of being the only one who is attached to this kind of music in an environment unaware of its existence. I have a quite different background (being double your age, not in any music scene, less cosmopolitan), but the devotion to Phish is the same. I discovered them by accident on youtube just a couple of years ago and now, not a day passes without them in my earphones or boxes. In the summer of '23 I couldn't resist to travel to New York to see them 5 times in a row. Good to see that there's at least some Europeans who are into Phish - there's you, myself, there's an Italian I know through Facebook, and the moderator of the FB group European Phish Phans who lives in Berlin, and surely there must be more). I have no idea what could convince Phish to come over to Europe for one more time, maybe we should start a lobby group? Anyway, thanks for your account, it's very encouraging!
