Midcoaster Thank you, Taylor, this is a great first installment. I, for one, often need reminders to be grateful for what I have. In this case, that's life, love, basic health, home, and live music! Yes, it's back, and people are bickering over the rating system (ingrates).

What's difficult to remember is that this past two and a half years have had a HUGE impact on all of us. We get comfortable, quickly, and lose sight of the important stuff. Heck, I even work in education with people who just breeze over the 1.04 million deaths as if they're nothing. Huh? My very same colleagues will also huff and puff about our terrible, 20th century losses to war here in the U.S. I'm always amazed that the losses of COVID-19 are downplayed.

The reason this is the great start to a blog series is that it's reminding us of the sheer amount of work Phish Inc. has poured into enriching our lives. Here's to another great year (high fives to all I saw out there on the road; to those I didn't see, let's hope for a next time) of Phish, and may there be many more. Furthermore, here's to another year of survival, and may there be many more.

Some day, Taylor, maybe I can share with you my impressions of the York, ME fanbase circa 1989 and 1990. Good times!
