Koop112 I completely agree about west coast phish being a thing.

I grew up in New England and went to college in the Midwest, and have seen the band all over east of the Mississippi.

Then I moved out to the PNW and started seeing them around - most notably the last three Gorge runs.

The difference in the vibe is noticeable and intangible, and def comes out in the music. I don’t think it’s better or worse - but I have gotten fond of what I find is a bit looser and more relaxed.

I love that they meet the vibe of the crowd, venues, and places they play. The really great bands can do that - and I think it makes it more fun for them as well.
