Was the traffic on Alligator Alley equally brutal in both directions? In hindsight, I'd always wondered if it would've been possible to save any time waiting in traffic, had I drove to the end of AA and just turned around...I figured there'd be fewer cars coming from the tip of Florida vs. the rest of the country
