No mention of Hartford 10/23/96? Straight up rolling thunder on that set, right from the Brother opener, to the Ya Mar>Drums, to everything else. I always thought that Gulloti night flowed better than the 97s.
Thanks for bringing this up. That omission was not entirely intentional, nor was it something we feel the need to dissect. Here's why. We focused on those 97 shows because of the very rare fact that Phish had a guest onstage for three consecutive 1997 sets (1.5 shows) smack dab in the middle of one of their most recognizable years/tours - an odd combination for all sorts of reasons, as most fans, it seems, were unaware that these sets transpired as they did. Taking the angle that this Gullotti guy must be somethin' special if he gets three straight sets of Phish stage time. Maybe that angle was lost - win some/lose some.

Still, we are not perfect, and here in the comments section we welcome your insight and corrections; admonishments and accolades; and, well, whatever you feel like sharing. There is always so much to learn and we appreciate the perspective and experience of all fans.
