in the beautiful setting of the gorge, sun setting, warm and aromatic summer breezes, surrounded by my old friends and not a care in the world, i could not have hoped for a better show. phish delivered to me what they delivered to my teenage self 17 years ago when i first experienced them: a night of fun, high energy music filled with all sorts of songs. just like any drug, you build up a tolerance over time and need more to reach the same levels; i suggest to many of y'all to see Phish less and to get off the distant couch-tour streams. you'll enjoy it all the more, while you're there, surrounded by the nicest people on a perfect night, with an amazing band providing the soundtrack.
