Phish.net: a Project of the Mockingbird Foundation

Phish.net Terms of Use Last Updated Mar 05, 2014

Phish.net is intended to be a place for discussion of all things Phish. To help keep it this way, we have a few simple guidelines (we reserve the right to modify these at any time):

  1. No posting of links to download copyrighted music or video, particularly Phish's commercial soundboard downloads from LivePhish.com or the band's albums. However, posting links to band-authorized audience recordings is definitely cool!
  2. No ticket scalping. Trading or selling tickets for face is fine.
  3. The sale of services or things (including by posting links) that infringe or may infringe the trademarks and copyrights of Phish, Inc., Phish.net, or The Mockingbird Foundation is not permitted. Other commercial posts or links may be removed at the discretion of site administrators.
  4. No hate speech. This means no posts disparaging someone's race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc.
  5. No harassment of other users. Disagreement is fine and even encouraged, but make it about the ideas, not the person.
  6. You may use a screen name or "handle" rather than your real name, but you can only have one account. Multiple accounts registered from the same IP address will be subject to deletion.

Taken together, the guidelines pretty much mean "Don't be a jerk."

Posts violating these guidelines will be deleted by a moderator. Repeated violation of these guidelines will result in removal of the offending account.

Users can help by utilizing the moderation system and giving a thumbs up to good Phish content and a thumbs down to posts violating the above rules. Posts with an excessive number of thumbs down will automatically be hidden

The Phish.net Terms of Use apply to ALL user postings, comments and communications on Phish.net and its services, including, but not limited to, the Phish.net Forum.

If you have any questions or concerns about the Phish.net Terms of Use, please email admin@phish.net.
