Notes: Mike, introduced as a “special guest from a band called Tuna,” joined in from “Let’s Go Dancing” through “Tone Clone.” Fish came out during “Tone Clone” and read a James Joyce selection about hell, after which Mike took a bass solo, and the musicians reprised the song.

Notes: “Dimension Extension” featured Fish on vacuum, while “Tone Clone” featured Fish on drums and a reading from Sun Ra’s Book of Information. Phish had performed earlier in the evening uptown at the Roseland Ballroom, and had also covered Hendrix’s “Fire” as their encore.

Link Late Night Jam Session, Saturday, 04/17/1993
Private Home, Ann Arbor, MI

Notes: This private party and jam session included two bass players, three guitar players, two drummers, percussion and keyboards. There was a rotation of performers throughout the night, including Mike on bass and Fish on drums, and members of local bands Deep Space Six and Uncle Chunk. The only known song performed was the Sanford and Son theme. No known recording exists. Phish had performed earlier in the evening at the Michigan Theatre.
