All Things Reconsidered
Parts of this FAQ have been superceded by the song history, which has been edited (and vetted) recently, though is focusedon the song and thus perhaps not as comprehensive as this page.

Not exactly.
"All Things Reconsidered" debuted 9/25/91 at the Colonial Theatre, Keene, NH, and was introduced by Trey as being a variation on the theme to All Things Considered, a show on NPR, National Public Radio.
Trey restated the link between ATR and ATC in Charlottesville 3-25-92 and in Portland 12/20/93. And at 12-1-92, Trey said, "Thank you people, at this time we're going to play the variations on the All Things Considered radio show theme song so please feel free to sing along" -- note that he emphatically said considered, not reconsidered."
Interestingly, ATR's second stage appearance was not until 3-11-92, almost six months later.
