MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 185

Welcome to the 185th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday! The winner will receive an MP3 download courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of the mystery jam clip. Each person gets one guess per day, with the second “day” starting after I post the hint. A hint will be posted on Tuesday if necessary, with the answer to follow on Wednesday. Good luck!

Notes: Mystery Jam Monday was posted for the first time since September 8, 2014 (17 Mondays).

My_Powerful_Mind I cannot believe it's been 20 years! The clip is right before they jam Little Drummer Boy. My first IT moment.

ProfJibboo 17 Mondays? I love a good MJM Bustout.

Babyrattlesnakes Dang, that one was solved fast! I would've gone in the Mule Duel direction my self.

MJZ1974 Agreed with @Babyrattlesnakes - I was convinced this was a '93-'94-ish Mule Duel.

Congrats OP!

My_Powerful_Mind Thanks! I was so psyched to know this one. I've been close before but never made it in time.

That's how to kick-off a new round of MJMs! Well done, My_Powerful_Mind.

mcgrupp81 This is one of my all time favorite jams and my favorite Weekapaug. The whole Mike's Groove is actually one of my all time favorites. In the last Pharmer's Almanac, there are a few mega collectors that were interviewed and one guy had 12/28/94 as his favorite show and Mike's Groove as his favorite song. The 1st set, especially the Antelope, is a real rager worth more than one listen but that 2nd set is a gem. Page dominating in Suzie and NICU. The chaotic Mikes into a beautiful Mango into the glorious Weekapaug. When I traded for the discs for this show, I was mentioning that this must have been one hell of an intense show to go to and the trader said he was there about 20 rows back from the stage tripping. To be the guy who gets to go that show and gets whatever is left of his mind blown away the next day. Viva Phish.

PhreePhish Glad to see the return of the Mystery Jam...

My_Powerful_Mind Maybe it's because I am a first time winner or just impatient but can we wrap this up? I just want to win dammit!
, comment by metawhy
metawhy Hmmmm. I was 20 rows back tripping as well! The best part of this jam follows this silly little Fishman breakdown, as Trey picks up the little drummer boy theme and just wails on it.

It was COLD that night outside in Philly.
