Canceled Shows

The following Phish shows were either cancelled or postponed:

  • 10/26/85 - Phish unable to play, see show notes.

  • 8/25/88 - Cancelled, due to inclement weather.

  • 4/1/90 - Listed in the Phish Update with note "call hotline", but apparently never transpired.

  • 3/14/91 - Rescheduled to 3/16/91; the originally scheduled 3/16/91 gig at the Marriott Ballroom in Vail, CO was cancelled.

  • 3/16/91 - See above.

  • 3/19/91 - Rescheduled to 3/25/91.

  • 11/5/91 - Cancelled, due to possible issue with venue's roof.

  • 7/19/93 - Cancelled, allegedly due to low ticket sales.

  • 7/2/96 - Rained out, though Phish later played with Santana on that date.

  • 7/9/13 - Rescheduled to 7/22/13 due to safety concerns related to power outages caused by flooding.

  • 8/17/18, 8/18/18, 8/19/18 - These shows comprised the Curveball Festival. The festival was cancelled due to concerns over water turbidity and an accompanying boil water notice in the greater Watkins Glen area.

Several other shows have been lacking full personnel but continued anyway.

  • Trey was responsible for the “Guitar Player Taking a Leak” jam at Laguna Seca Daze in on 5/29/94, although the band covered with a funny little ditty in classic Phish humor followed by a smoking two-song second encore.

  • Fishman, having gone missing on a bear-scared acid trip (as told later in that show in “Run Like an Antelope” and in the "bear story" 3/17/91), was not present for sets one and two of 7/30/88, leaving the others to tool around in a Jazz Odyssey with Trey on drums.TESTEST
