Contrary to popular opinion, Jah Roy and Joe Moore are not the same person. The former is a member of Lambs Bread who also contributed vocals on the Phish live stage; the latter is a Burlington-area saxophonist, vocalist, and member of Pork Tornado. Somehow, in the minds of some fans, the two have gotten confused along the way. Roy’s contributions to the Phish stage include singing “Have Mercy” on 10/31/86 and quoting lines from a number of reggae songs during a jam out of “Ya Mar” on 6/20/88.
