Walk Away

n00b100 My favorite version of Walk Away, due to a) the absolutely magical segue out of the Jam proceeding Twist, b) the magisterial tempo they play the song at, light years from the lightning-fast tempo of a 5/7/94, and c) the neat little Quadrophonic Topplings-esque jam that pops out of the back end. An essential component of 6/14/00 II, one of the band's greatest achievements.

n00b100 Probably my favorite version *of the three shows I mentioned*, I should have said. My favorite version *ever* is Fukuoka's.

n00b100 Walk Away showed up in three of the most famous seguefests in the history of the band (this one, 8/14/93, and 2/20/93); this is probably my favorite version of it, coming hurtling pell-mell out of the Sweet Emotion jam, being played at roughly 200 mph (Page just *belts* out the lyrics), and then cooling down and wandering into something that can approximate a song by The Breeders that we all saw the video for on MTV one too many times. I miss Walk Away.
