CreatureoftheNight This is by far my favorite version of Curtain. I felt that way at the time and it has only sweetened with the passage of time. I'm not sure why it hasn't made it on to the jam chart yet. Give it a listen for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

ChalkDustTeacher Currently this is the earliest key version (red) of any song, along with the JJLC from the same night. It certainly deserves that title.

The vocals in The Curtain are a little bit trying, but allow me to make a sweeping generalization and say that this is true for most vocals during this period.

The playing in With is patient, flowing, and majestic. Trey's playing in particular reminds me a little bit of David Gilmour on this take. It's hard to believe that they played this in a little bar in Burlington, because everything about it is so polished and perfect. The limitations on Page's equipment certainly don't hurt this track as the sounds he contributes fit incredibly well.
