[1] TAB debut. [2] Debut; Trey and Dave acoustic. [3] TAB debut; acoustic duet with Dave Matthews. [4] TAB debut; with Dave Matthews on vocals.
Notes: The TAB debut of “The Landlady” contained an instrumental intro section. Dave Matthews performed on “Everyday” through the end of the show; this was the debut performance of “Everyday” by Trey or Dave. Both Trey and Dave performed “Everyday” and “Three Little Birds” on acoustic guitar; Trey also played acoustic on “At the Gazebo.” “Three Little Birds,” “Whatever Gets You Through the Night” and “I Want to Take You Higher” were TAB debuts.
The whole vibe was very cool. Tossing around the football in the park in front of the venue beforehand. Small, intimate crowd barely crowded the sidewalk. Gorgeous inside with gold leaf and murals.
No review song-by-song, but will only say that the whole show was fantastic from top to bottom. Songs were new, raw, and powerful. Even without Dave, and the fact that it was my first Trey show, it is still one of my top shows. Eclectic and energetic. Got get it. Go get the whole tour for that matter.
